The Old Town Classic, but Different

Service details

If you want to see Prague's most magnificent gems and actually connect the dots between local architecture, history, and art (as you should!), this one's for you. If you dread spending hours listening to stuffy monologues, this one's also for you. See Prague's center through a (very passionate) art curator's lens. Through architecture and art in the public space, you'll learn everything there is to know about Czechia's dramatic historical plot twists — and the most important events of today. From cubism to gothics, you'll learn how to spot different architectural styles and nail them without a hitch. There will be sculptures, a handful of precious food tips, and a whole array of other special spots that group tours typically miss. There won't be any beer jokes (okay, maybe one or two) and anything you could've found on Lonely Planet for free. Promise. While there are a bunch of tours in the historical center, this is the only one with a deep understanding of art. Your guide will be Kamila – a dedicated art curator and theorist who spends her days either working with artists or bringing art closer to people. Especially to those of you who think art and architecture are boring. 🙂 Come and become an art lover in less than four hours. It really is that fun. You'll see: The Palacký Square, The Dancing House, The National Theatre and the New Scene, The Kampa Island, The Charles Bridge, The Old Town Square, House of the Black Madonna and The Municipal House The tour is always private and you'll have your guide Kamila all to yourself. The length of the tour is approximately 3,5 hours. The price is 160 EUR for two people, each additional person is + 30 EUR. To check availability and book a date for the walk, please contact me at kamila@kopr.art
